The first phase of CA AARP’s pilot initiative has successfully begun with an ongoing series of educational webinars on how to save money on energy costs and improve home health, comfort, and safety while reducing carbon emissions.
Now we are preparing for the next phase of the campaign: helping CA AARP members take action to electrify their homes and vehicles. This is where the rubber hits the road on energy savings and eliminating carbon emissions.
But taking action can be daunting no matter how motivated we are or how many educational webinars we’ve attended. That’s because there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Everyone’s home, utility use, and financial situation are different. So most of us are going to need help and support in making a electrification plan that meets our unique needs and in finding reliable and skilled local contractors and financing to implement the plan.
That’s why we’ve chosen QuitCarbon as a partner to help people over all these hurdles. QuitCarbon is an ENERGY STAR® Partner that has helped thousands of Californians to develop, implement, and finance their own personalized electrification plans.

Our objective in launching this program is twofold: first, to help you achieve the savings, home comfort, safety, and health benefits promised by the transition to clean energy, and second to lay the groundwork for the next phase of the Power Your Savings campaign.
